In a poignant moment on the latest episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, Jiya Shankar, a current contestant on the show, opened up and shared a heart-wrenching revelation from her past with Jad Hadid. Following a disagreement between the two on Bigg Boss, Jiya expressed her emotions and revealed some personal details.
Jiya confided in Jad, saying, “Jiya Shankar, Shankar is not my father’s name, it is not my last name. Shankar is not my real name. I don’t use my father’s name, I don’t use his last name. I am sharing this in front of countless people, to show you how much you mean to me.”
While Jad attempted to console Jiya, she continued, “I don’t have a father, and I understand what it means. I have never addressed anyone as ‘father,’ and I have never granted that position to anyone in my life except for you. You have a daughter, and I don’t have a father. That’s the difference.” She added, “You would never let go of your daughter’s hand.”
Eventually, Jad managed to comfort Jiya, and the two embraced. Jiya expressed, “I never want to lose you; you are like family to me.”
