On July 6th, Ricky Martin and Jwan Yosef surprised everyone by revealing their divorce, ending their six-year marriage. “Returning to La Romana brings me immense joy. Whenever I’m here, I make it a point to take a dip in the Chavón River, and it seems that it always brings good things into my life and career, right @amagerman?” the singer joyfully expressed on his Instagram. “Those waters are truly a blessing,” he added.
Addressing his Dominican Republic fans, Ricky announced an upcoming symphonic concert with the National Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro José Antonio Molina, scheduled for September 2nd at Altos de Chavón. “Prepare for an unforgettable night! See you there!” he concluded in his post.

Lucia, affectionately referred to as “the queen of the house,” was born on December 24th, Christmas Eve, which also happens to be Ricky’s birthday. The singer and the artist joyfully announced, “We are excited to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy girl whom we have named Lucía Martin-Yosef” a few days after her birth.
Martin further expressed his delight in a 2020 interview with ¡HOLA! TV, saying, “This girl is the queen of our house; she entered the room and said, ‘I’m here.’ She doesn’t speak yet, but her little face says it all; she won’t have any problems in life. And Renn, the baby who is only 7 months old, is very gentle. They are perfect.” Ricky Martin already had Matteo and Valentino when he and Jwan Yosef began their relationship, and Lucia’s arrival was followed by the birth of Renn in 2019. Despite their separation, the singer and his former partner remain committed to co-parenting for the sake of their children’s well-being.
