Matthew McConaughey and wife Camila command attention from fans as they let loose in Austin: wild photos
Yellowstone actor, Matthew McConaughey, and his wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, recently immersed themselves in the vibrant atmosphere of Austin, Texas. They attended the renowned 2023 Austin City Limits Music Festival, featuring musical giants like Foo Fighters, Shania Twain, and Alanis Morissette.
Set against the picturesque backdrop of Zilker Park, the annual ACL Festival spans two weekends, from October 6-8 and October 13-16, showcasing a diverse array of artists and their unique sounds.
Before hitting the festival grounds, the couple had another thrilling event on their agenda: witnessing the fierce showdown between the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners, both undefeated teams vying for supremacy.
Matthew, a devoted Longhorns fan, was seen at the Cotton Bowl, soaking in every heart-pounding moment from the sidelines. It seemed that the couple also had special access passes for the ACL Festival, allowing them to enjoy the best of both worlds on this eventful day.
At the festival, Matthew sported a casual ensemble with brown pants, a black dress shirt, and eye-catching white and green sneakers. He topped it off with a baseball cap bearing his iconic catchphrase “alright, alright, alright,” which gained fame after his role in “Dazed And Confused” and has become a signature for him, marking significant moments in his life, including his Oscar win for Dallas Buyers Club.
Camila exuded style and grace in a chic white layered skirt, complemented by a gold blouse and comfortable white sneakers.
The festival’s performances were electrifying. Country legend Shania Twain shone in her shimmering metallic silver outfit, delivering her timeless hits. Meanwhile, Thirty Seconds To Mars, led by the charismatic Jared Leto, delivered a memorable performance, with Leto donning a distinctive red ensemble.
Aside from the headliners, ACL Festival featured a diverse lineup of artists, ensuring a musical treat for every taste, including acts like Noah Kahan, Mt. Joy, and Tove Lo.
Earlier in the day, Matthew displayed his football passion by donning classic Texan attire – blue jeans, a white T-shirt, and a cowboy hat – while cheering for the Longhorns. Camila looked effortlessly stylish in an all-black ensemble. Regrettably for Matthew, the day ended in disappointment as the Longhorns, despite being favorites, lost to the Oklahoma Sooners.
However, Matthew’s spirits remained high, as evidenced by his Instagram post flashing the ‘horns’ gesture, captioned, “Horns on a mission.”
Adding a touch of family warmth to their day, the couple shared a snapshot with their eldest son, 15-year-old Levi. They are also parents to two other children, 13-year-old Vida and 10-year-old Livingston.
