Amelia Gray Hamlin Wears Sheer Nipple-Baring Gown for 2023 CFDA Awards
At the 2023 Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Fashion Awards held at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, 22-year-old model Amelia Gray Hamlin made a daring fashion statement in a revealing ensemble.
Hamlin donned a translucent Alaïa Spring 2024 Ready To Wear gown that left little to the imagination. The floor-length gown featured a turtle neck and long sleeves with baby blue fur accents on her forearms. It was form-fitting and showcased a matching baby blue high-cut undergarment. The gown’s translucent fabric provided a peekaboo effect, revealing her exposed nipples.
To complement her bold outfit, the model opted for heavy black eye makeup and simple light brown lipstick. Her hair was elegantly pulled into a sleek high ponytail. She added a touch of elegance with two large silver ballooning bangles as accessories.

The star-studded event was attended by numerous celebrities, including CFDA host Anne Hathaway, as well as Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore, Kim Kardashian, Mary J. Blige, Serena Williams, Julia Fox, Vera Wang, Jenna Lyons, Naomi Watts, Martha Stewart, Rosario Dawson, Ashley Graham, and many others.
Gwyneth Paltrow, 51, was honored with the Innovation Award for her work with the lifestyle brand Goop, while Serena Williams, 42, received the CFDA’s Fashion Icon award. Other honorees included Mara Hoffmann, who received the Sustainability Award, Maria Cornejo, who received the Geoffrey Beene Lifetime Achievement Award, and Domenico De Sole, who was honored with the Founder’s Award in Honor of Eleanor Lambert.
Amelia Gray Hamlin had previously made her debut on the Chanel runway when she walked in the Chanel Cruise show in May. The Los Angeles show was attended by numerous celebrities, and Hamlin’s mother, Lisa Rinna, was exceptionally proud of her daughter’s achievement. Hamlin has also showcased her bond with her fashion-focused mother by sharing and wearing vintage pieces from her mom’s wardrobe in various fashion shoots and events.
