Kim’s Fascination with Mumbai Autos
Kim Kardashian has expressed a desire to do a photoshoot with Mumbai’s iconic auto rickshaws, particularly near the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. However, auto rickshaws are not allowed to operate in South Mumbai, creating a significant hurdle for the shoot. The production team is actively seeking permissions to facilitate this unique photoshoot.
Seeking Permissions
The planned photoshoot locations include Lalbagh Masala Market, Siddhivinayak Temple, and the Taj Hotel area. The production house has approached the Colaba Traffic Police for permission, but they were redirected to the transport department.
Joint Commissioner of the Transport Department, J.B. Patil, mentioned, “Our permission is required only if the autorickshaw is actually to be operated; otherwise, take permission from the traffic police.” Anil Kumbhare, Joint Commissioner of Police, Transport Department, added, “We have not received any application regarding the use of autorickshaws for photo shoots in South Mumbai.”
