GMA’s Dr Jennifer Ashton seriously missed by co-star as she shares new update far away from home
Dr. Jennifer Ashton has been thoroughly enjoying her time in London over the past few weeks, and her fans have been following her adventures closely.
The Good Morning America star has been keeping her followers updated with her experiences during her stay abroad. One of her recent posts featured a photo reel from a visit to a restaurant over the weekend.
While her co-stars are genuinely happy that Jennifer is having such a fantastic time, one of them is eagerly awaiting her return home.
Lara Spencer, a fellow GMA colleague, couldn’t contain her excitement and commented on Jennifer’s photos, saying, “Come home woman,” accompanied by a heart emoji.
Jennifer has been a regular on GMA3 since 2020, sharing the screen with Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes. This year, she faced a professional challenge when her co-stars were let go following a high-profile affair scandal. Since then, Jennifer has been joined by Eva Pilgrim and DeMarco Morgan, and the trio has formed a strong bond.
While Jennifer has not publicly discussed the situation or revealed whether she still maintains contact with Amy or T.J., she has been enjoying her time with her new co-stars, both on and off the show. They recently shared a night out together, attending the wedding of fellow GMA star Robin Roberts to her long-term partner, Amber Laign. Jennifer expressed her joy on social media, writing, “Oh what a night celebrating the love and marriage of two special people, @robinrobertsgma @amberita1227. Jennifer kicked off a new season of GMA3 in September and used the opportunity to pay tribute to her late friend and co-star, Howard Bragman, who passed away earlier in the year at the age of 66. Howard, a TV physician who had previously appeared on GMA, had battled leukemia. Jennifer honored him by sharing a heartfelt message and a photo of her coffee, saying, “I see you Howard, all the time, and I miss you.” At the time of Howard’s passing, Jennifer had paid tribute to him on social media, fondly remembering him as a “giant giving and loving teddy bear” who had touched countless hearts.
When she’s not working, Jennifer cherishes her time with her family. She is married to Tom Werner, and the couple is approaching their first wedding anniversary in November.
