Halle Bailey showcases toned legs in latex boots in revealing new snap
Halle Bailey, the versatile 23-year-old actress known for her role in “The Little Mermaid,” made a glamorous Instagram update that left her followers captivated. She shared a series of elegant mirror selfies, radiating confidence and style.
Halle looked sophisticated and sultry in a soft pistachio green coat, elegantly paired with sleek black, over-the-knee latex boots that added a touch of allure. As she crossed her legs gracefully while seated in a chair framed by light brown, floor-to-ceiling curtains, she completed her ensemble with a matching turtleneck sweater.
Her beauty regimen flawlessly complemented her look, with her brunette tresses cascading down her shoulders and a natural glow accentuating her features. Shimmering brown eyeshadow highlighted her eyes, and a sun-kissed blush added warmth to her visage. Her lips, outlined with deep brown liner and adorned with a layer of pink gloss, enhanced her radiant smile, while her meticulous beige manicure added the finishing touch.
Halle initially gained fame as part of the musical duo Chloe x Halle alongside her sister Chloe Bailey, and she continues to impress with her style and charisma.
In a different cinematic update, the live-action adaptation of “The Little Mermaid,” featuring Halle as the iconic Ariel, faced financial challenges. Recent reports indicated that the film’s budget exceeded its initial allocation, surpassing $300 million. Forbes reported that by August of the previous year, Disney had exceeded the planned budget for the production. While initial estimates from Variety suggested a $250 million production cost, Disney’s filings indicated a significant increase, largely due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The pandemic disrupted the film’s production schedule and posed health challenges. Originally slated to begin filming in the UK between March and April 2020, the movie faced delays due to global lockdowns. When filming finally commenced in January 2021, the production encountered setbacks in June when several crew members tested positive for COVID-19.
Forbes’ report also noted that the stated budget did not include post-production expenses. Despite the film grossing $38 million on its opening day in May, as reported by Variety, it did not recoup its costs, resulting in box office losses.
“The Little Mermaid,” a modern reimagining of the beloved 1989 animated classic, hit theaters on May 26, with fans eagerly flocking to see Halle Bailey’s portrayal of Ariel.
