Jessica Simpson’s latest photo of adorable lookalike daughter leaves fans doing a double take
Jessica Simpson, the author of “The Open Book,” garnered a strong reaction from fans when she shared a recent photo of her daughter, Birdie Mae, showcasing her budding photography skills.
The former reality star left her followers impressed with an enchanting black-and-white photograph of her sweet four-year-old daughter, Birdie Mae. Fans couldn’t help but notice the striking resemblance between mother and daughter.
Jessica, who is 43 years old, shares three children with her husband, Eric Johnson, whom she married in 2014. Their family includes their eldest daughter, Maxwell Drew, who is 11 years old and was born in 2012, followed by their son Ace, who is ten years old, and the adorable Birdie, who is four.
Over the weekend, Jessica took to Instagram to showcase her photography prowess. The captivating image featured little Birdie standing on a trampoline, gazing directly into the camera. Her long blonde hair seemed to defy gravity, standing on end due to static electricity. The backdrop revealed an expansive and picturesque view, likely from the Johnson-Simpson family’s sprawling backyard.
In the caption, Jessica fittingly wrote, “ELECTRIC BIRD,” and fans flooded the comments section with praise for the delightful snap.
One fan gushed, “Ahhhh electric personality, I love it! She’s too cute.” Others chimed in with comments like, “How cute, your twin,” and “This is so CUTE. She’s definitely your mini-me.” The compliments continued with remarks such as “So beautiful sweet angel,” and another follower added, “Epic photo. Love this!”
Jessica and her family are primarily based in Los Angeles. However, she recently shared insights about their family’s adventure testing out a potential move to Nashville, Tennessee.
During an interview with E! News, she humorously shared her experience in a rental home over the summer, saying, “It’s been a hilarious experience.” She continued, “I rent a home but I don’t realize I need window coverings… I used thumbtacks to put these $40 curtains up so I don’t wake up with the sun…”
Despite the occasional chaos, and with no firm commitment to moving just yet, she expressed the positive impact of their time in Nashville, saying, “Being in Nashville, even my kids are like, ‘You laugh the whole time, you’re so happy.'” She emphasized the relaxed atmosphere and shared values in the community, noting, “It’s because I’m not on guard, I’m with a lot of like-minded people, and it’s not about the celebrity. It really is about the music and the heart and the conversation, and honestly just to have the music conversation again makes me so excited.”
