Kourtney Kardashian and her spouse, Travis Barker of Blink 182 fame, may not share the most conventional bedtime arrangement. While they are known for their passionate public displays of affection, the reality behind closed doors is rather different.
Despite the romantic image one might have of the couple, who tied the knot in May 2022, they don’t always cuddle up together at night. In fact, Kourtney revealed in October 2022 that her daughter, Penelope, from her previous relationship with Scott Disick, sleeps in her bed.
During an episode of Amanda Hirsch’s Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, Kourtney mentioned that 11-year-old Penelope has been sleeping with her since birth, and it continues unless a friend sleeps over.
This sleeping arrangement has influenced Kourtney and Travis’ relationship. At the time, Kourtney explained that they had not yet moved in together. She said, “We’re in the process of blending our households and our children. We have family dinners every Sunday with all the kids at his house. We want our children to feel comfortable. They’ve both lived in their homes for most of their lives and have their own rooms.”
As of now, it’s unclear whether Kourtney and Travis have started living together, but they do own a joint property—a beach house in Carpinteria, California, which they purchased for $14.5 million last fall.
This oceanfront property consists of four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and two buildings, covering 2,142 square feet. It’s located 90 minutes north of Los Angeles, making it a perfect escape for the couple.
Kourtney, a member of the Kardashian family, is expecting her first child with Travis, making their blended family of eight soon to become a family of nine. They are expecting a baby boy, and Travis’ 20-year-old son, Landon, expressed his excitement over the impending arrival. He mentioned that he had never had a baby sibling before and that he was happy for them, although he humorously admitted that he had hoped for a sister, joking that he wished to remain the only Barker boy.
Landon’s sister, Alabama, who is 17, also shared her enthusiasm about welcoming a new brother, emphasizing that having another family member is always exciting and that getting to know a new person will be fun and exciting.
