NCIS’ Pauley Perrette reveals glimpse of rarely-seen family member – Brian Dietzen reacts
The actress known for her role as Abby Sciuto shared an endearing video on Instagram.
NCIS former cast member, Pauley Perrette, is a devoted dog parent, and on a recent Sunday, she offered her fans a charming glimpse of her affectionate rescue dog, Rosie. Using her Instagram platform, the 54-year-old former actress shared a comical video taken in her backyard.
The caption accompanying the video read: “So, #RescueDog ROSIE and her BALL! She’s utterly fixated on her ball, to the point of obsession. When we venture into the yard, she remains eerily still in the exact spot, awaiting me to throw her ball, which I must always bring with me. But this time? Well, this happened.”
The video left fans in stitches as little Rosie seemed momentarily perplexed, mistakenly believing that Pauley would throw her a ball, all the while having it already in her mouth. The video elicited a reaction from Pauley’s 54k followers, and among them, her NCIS co-star Brian Dietzen was one of the first to respond, leaving a comment with a laughing face emoji.
A fan chimed in, “Rescue dogs are the best,” and another agreed, “What a little sweetheart.”
Although Pauley seldom discusses her private life, the TV personality frequently shares pictures of her three rescue dogs – Rosie, Bug, and Grace – on her social media accounts. Last year, she referred to the trio as “my life and my joy,” and urged her followers to consider adopting a rescue dog.
Before sharing her latest video, the former NCIS star had already warmed hearts with an Instagram post in support of her late co-star, David McCallum’s son Val.
She posted a clip of herself at a concert where Val was playing the guitar. Her caption for the video read: “My pastor and I went to see @JacksonBrowne. SUCH a good show. The OUTSTANDING #guitar player on the right in the red shirt is @valmccallum.7. Son of #DavidMccallum. Excellent musicianship all around. And I could listen to just his backup singers all day. Lovely young ladies Jackson met in a youth gospel choir.”
Val’s father, David McCallum, sadly passed away in late September at the age of 90 due to natural causes at New York Presbyterian Hospital.
The executive producers of NCIS released a statement following his passing, praising David McCallum for his portrayal of Dr. Donald ‘Ducky’ Mallard, and describing him as a scholar, gentleman, professional, and a legend who will be deeply missed.
