Ronan Keating and wife Storm pose with children to share incredible announcement
Ronan Keating and his wife, Storm, celebrated a significant milestone as the Australian-born model officially became a British citizen. Their joyous occasion was attended by Ronan’s three eldest children, Jack, Missy, and Ali, while Storm’s own children, Cooper and Coco, stayed home.
Sharing the news on Instagram, Storm looked sharp in a grey tweed jacket and black trousers, while Ronan sported a dapper cream suit and brown shoes. A friend, Stefania Aleksander, posted a photo that captured this momentous day.
The clip also revealed a small post-ceremony party adorned with both British and Australian flags. A red cake humorously declared, “You’re a pomausie,” cleverly playing on the terms ‘Australian’ and ‘pommie.’
In a heartfelt caption, the 41-year-old expressed, “After living in England for 11 years and bearing two British babies, I have pledged my allegiance to the King and can now proudly call myself officially a #britishcitizen. Unofficially of course, a huge piece of my heart is Irish too.”
Fans flooded Storm with support and congratulations, with one commenting, “Many congratulations please don’t lose that gorgeous accent though.” Another exclaimed, “Woo woo proud to be British,” while a third shared, “Congratulations! I’m a Pomaussie too.” Others warmly welcomed her to the British community.
Ronan and Storm’s love story began in 2011 on the Australian version of the X Factor, and their relationship has remained steadfast. In a prior interview with HELLO!, Ronan disclosed that they still exchange sweet notes and gestures around their home.
During their early days of dating, despite being oceans apart, they would send each other songs that held sentimental value, reminding them of special moments they shared. According to Ronan, “Romance is very important to both of us,” and they continue to cherish these romantic connections, leaving each other thoughtful surprises and notes as tokens of their enduring love.
