Shania Twain shares intimate glimpse into her bedroom that causes a stir
Shania Twain’s ongoing global Queen of Me Tour is in full swing, making stops at some of the world’s largest and most prestigious arenas. The 58-year-old country-pop sensation has been candid with her extensive fanbase about life on the road, and her latest peek behind the scenes was rather unexpected.
Taking to her Instagram, Shania shared a snapshot of her tour accommodations, offering her followers a glimpse into her hotel bedroom, which appeared to be on the verge of doubling as a makeshift production studio. In the room, a makeup-free Shania, clad in an oversized shirt, was hard at work on her laptop, surrounded by a few more electronic gadgets. Her guitar and amp were also seen resting on the bed.
A tangle of wires crisscrossed around her, and the most amusing sight was her mic stand, which had been ingeniously rigged with a hotel’s steamer to provide stability while leaning against her bed.
Shania humorously captioned the photo with a crying-laughing emoji, and it led many fans to speculate about a potential new album. However, some simply found this behind-the-scenes glimpse to be delightful.
One fan encouraged, “Queen stays busy! Don’t be afraid to give us a snippet!” Another fan praised her by saying, “Love seeing behind the scenes stuff! You are so cool,” while another humorously quipped, “Still cleaner than my bed,” and another appreciatively noted, “Well, when you’ve got the creative juices flowing, you’ve got to get creative.”
Shania returned to the United States for her tour on October 7, gracing the stage at Austin City Limits and even joining the legendary rock band Foo Fighters for a performance.
In a heartfelt tribute to the band, Shania expressed her admiration for their show and their generosity. She wrote, “This was one off the bucket list for me! Firstly thank you to @foofighters for inviting me on stage – you are all so generous and ridiculously cool. I am a huge rock fan. My first band was a rock band, my first big producer was one of the world’s renowned rock producers, me and my son like to rock out. Totally worth the adrenaline-fueled run from my stage to yours Dave Grohl – you are a true friend and talent.”
The tour is set to resume on October 12 in San Antonio and will continue until November 14, concluding in Vancouver, Shania’s hometown in Canada, after a total of 78 shows.
The Queen of Me Tour, in support of her latest album of the same name, kicked off in Spokane, Washington, on April 28, marking her first tour in nearly five years following her Let’s Go! Las Vegas residency. After the initial leg in the United States and Canada, it made a brief European excursion with ten shows in Scotland, England, and Ireland before returning to North America.
