Strictly’s Nikita Kuzmin confirms exciting announcement amid show success
The Strictly professional dancer, Nikita Kuzmin, is creating waves alongside Bad Education star Layton Williams on the show, topping the leaderboard three times over its six-week run. While their Strictly journey continues into week seven, Nikita is already looking forward to the future.
In a post by fellow professional dancer Jowita Pryzstal, it was revealed that Nikita would be participating in Donaheys’ Dancing with the Stars weekends, where select hotels offer dance classes with Strictly Come Dancing stars. Jowita shared a photo of herself and Nikita during a pro routine, both elegantly dressed with fedoras, announcing, “@nikita__kuzmin and myself have the pleasure to join next year @donaheys Dancing with the Stars Weekend at Alton Towers Resort Hotel. Looking forward to seeing you there.”
Their latest Strictly performance, a Halloween-inspired Tango to Olivia Rodrigo’s “Vampire,” was a hit with a score of 36 from the judges and even featured Layton performing a backflip in heels.
Unfortunately, Jowita’s journey on Strictly ended in week four, where she and Jody Cundy were eliminated after their salsa routine received a score of only 19 from the judges. Despite the setback, Jowita had a positive outlook on the experience, saying, “I absolutely loved every second of it,” and praising her partner’s energy and motivation.
Nikita, on the other hand, recently shared a personal moment, posting a photo of himself in tears after watching the movie “The Notebook.” Although he didn’t reveal if he watched the film alone or with someone, it’s known that he is in a happy relationship with Lauren Jaine. Their relationship, previously kept private, has become more public as they’ve shared photos of each other on social media, and Lauren has even met Nikita’s parents.
