Tish Cyrus Wishes Daughter Miley Happy Birthday as She Shares Photos from Family Thanksgiving: ‘Ride or Die’
“I express my gratitude to God each day for entrusting me with the joy of having you as my ‘little girl,'” Tish conveyed in her tribute to her daughter.
Miley Cyrus celebrated her 31st birthday on a particularly special day—Thanksgiving! The renowned pop star marked the occasion on Thursday, surrounded by friends and family. The following day, her mother, Tish Cyrus, took to social media to share a heartfelt tribute.
The first image in the post featured the mother-daughter pair, beaming with wide smiles side by side. The second image captured Miley, in a playful moment, lounging on a couch behind Tish.
“It’s truly astonishing that you’re now ’31,’ @mileycyrus; time seems to pass in the blink of an eye,” expressed the proud 56-year-old mom. “What I am certain of is my daily gratitude to God for blessing me with you as my ‘little girl’… My love for you knows no bounds.”
She went on to describe the incomprehensible love Miley showers upon her. “You are my mini-me, my ride or die… May this year be your most remarkable yet!”
“Thrilled to be navigating life’s journey alongside you! Happy Birthday, my ‘little’ one—your Momma adores you! ❤️ #31 #happybirthday,” Tish concluded.
The post also featured a snapshot of her loved ones, including her new husband, Dominic Purcell, gathered in celebration of Thanksgiving.
“Tremendously grateful to call these wonderful individuals FAMILY ❤️ Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours ❤️,” Tish wrote in the caption.
Having tied the knot with actor Purcell in Malibu in August, Tish reflected on her wedding day, stating, “I’m so happy with how it turned out. I wouldn’t change a thing,” in a previous Vogue interview.
Preceding Thanksgiving, Miley celebrated her new chapter with a performance at Los Angeles’ Chateau Marmont hotel. As she shared in an Instagram post, “My birthday gift to MYSELF this year was VERY on brand.”
The “Wrecking Ball” artist performed for herself, singing her favorite songs, including her own. She described it as the “first ‘live’ performance of ‘Flowers,'” expressing gratitude for the growth in both herself and the song.
“With Love, Miley,” she concluded.
