Veteran actor Javed Sheikh Reveals Fun-filled Experiences with Bollywood Icons Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan!
In a candid interview on Momin Saqib’s show, ‘Had Kardi,’ Javed Sheikh shared delightful stories of his time working with two Bollywood superstars, Akshay Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan.
One memorable incident involved Akshay Kumar’s mischievous side. Spotting Javed’s fancy Cartier watch, Akshay playfully pretended it was his own luxury timepiece, teasingly scolding the spot boy, “Don’t give my watch to Sheikh Saab!” The playful prank brought laughter and joy to the entire set.
Another intriguing anecdote took place during Javed’s stint on Shah Rukh Khan’s set. Despite smoking being prohibited, Javed had a craving for a smoke. To his surprise, he discovered that Shah Rukh was discreetly enjoying a smoke and black coffee. Taking a chance, Javed asked if he could join in, and to his delight, the gracious Don actor welcomed him, even arranging a table nearby for Javed to indulge in his smoking session while bonding with the superstar.
Javed fondly reminisced about these incredible moments shared with the Bollywood stars while working on movies like ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Namaste London.’ However, Pakistani actors faced a ban in 2016, temporarily halting Javed’s collaborations with Indian cinema.
Nevertheless, Javed made a triumphant return to the screen in the star-studded heist film ‘Money Back Guarantee’ this year, acting alongside prominent names like Mikaal Zulfiqar, Fawad Khan, Ayesha Omar, and cricket legend Wasim Akram.
